robotics bootcamp for nieces & nephews
I love being an uncle, and part of the fun is getting to share my engineering know-how with my nieces and nephews. In 2022, at our family reunion, I led a robotics bootcamp where we built an RC-operated tank-steering tracked robot with an FPV camera.
The camera was mounted to a pitch-angle servo, and its stream could be viewed via smartphone.
We learned programming, remote control, soldering, voltage regulation, some mechanical improvisation, and more.
